Literature Searches

Professional librarians are available to conduct searches of medical literature on your behalf. Depending on your needs, our literature searches will produce a curated list of relevant article abstracts or book suggestions for you. The more information you can give us about your topic, the better your search results will be. Please specify in the form linked below if you want a particular kind or number of articles or need our search results within a definite time frame.

The average turn-around time for literature searches is twenty-four hours. Literature searches are available to faculty, residents, fellows, nurses and doctors affiliated with Baylor Scott and White Health and Baylor College of Medicine.

Systematic Reviews

Systematic reviews require planning, a focused topic, and typically take 9-12 months to complete. Our research librarians are happy to meet with you to help define your topic, determine keywords, and conduct your searches. If you would like help getting started on a systematic review, please schedule a time to meet with a librarian.

Please visit our Systematic Review research guide for more information.
