The library features a variety of study spaces:
Bates Visual Guide features head-to-toe and systems physical exam videos completely reshot with an emphasis on clinical accuracy and patient care. Learn and practice the fundamental interpersonal and communication techniques often demonstrated in clinical encounters, and the timeless skills you will continually polish as you care for patients. New patient encounter videos allow you to practice your clinical reasoning skills and review for exams.
ClinicalKey offers the most current, evidence-based answers available for all medical and surgical specialties, including over 1,000 books, over 500 top journals, and over 13,000 procedural videos. Content supplied by Elsevier, the world's leading provider of science and health information. Faster, more relevant clinical answers, so you can spend less time searching and more time caring for patients.
Ditki is an online platform designed to help medical students learn more efficiently. We do this through layered learning techniques that break complex concepts down into simple, digestible chunks.
In order to access DITKI, you must register under 'Institutional Registration'. You will create an account with your BSWH email and select Baylor Scott & White as the institution from the drop-down menu.
Anatomy & Neuroanatomy are currently the only modules available.
VisualDX is an electronic resource for Web and mobile devices that combines the power of a comprehensive medical image library with concise evidence-based clinical information.
UpToDate is specifically designed to answer the clinical questions that arise in daily practice and to do so quickly and easily so that it can be used right at the point of care. Our physician editors and authors review and update our content on a continuous basis and a new, peer-reviewed version is issued every four months. The published evidence is summarized and specific recommendations made for patient care.
